Аннотация. Литературно-политический журнал «Культура» издавался с 1947 г. преимущественно в среде польской эмиграции. Вплоть до последнего выпуска в 2000 г. одной из ключевых целей авторов, публиковавших в журнале работы, была концептуализация отношений Польши с восточными соседями. В статьях затрагивались вопросы межгосударственных, внутрирегиональных связей Польши с другими странами, осмысливалась ее роль в регионе в зависимости от меняющегося геополитического контекста. Узнаваемость журнал получил вследствие публикации работ Е. Гедройца и Ю. Мерошевского, в которых излагалась концепция восточной политики «УЛБ». В настоящем исследовании предпринята попытка оценки роли периодического издания в контексте оформления и применения новой стратегии развития восточного вектора внешней политики Польши. Автор приходит к выводу о том, что деятельность издания «Культура» имела большую значимость для страны до и после 1989 г. и не ограничивалась репрезентацией доктрины Гедройца – Мерошевского.

The Role of the Literary and Political Magazine Kultura in the Formation of Modern Polish Eastern Politics

Abstract. The literary and political journal “Kultura” has been published since 1947 mainly among the Polish emigration. Until the last issue in 2000, one of the key goals of the publication and the authors who published their work in the journal was to conceptualize Poland’s relations with its eastern neighbors. The publications addressed issues of Poland’s interstate and intraregional relations with other countries, and reflected on Poland’s role in the region depending on the changing geopolitical context. The journal gained recognition due to the publication of works by E. Giedroyc and J. Mieroszewski, where the concept of the eastern policy of the “ULB” was outlined. This study attempts to assess the role of the journal in the context of the design and application of a new strategy for the development of the eastern vector of the country’s foreign policy. The author comes to the conclusion that the activities of the Polish emigration and the “Kultura” journal are of great importance in politics before and after 1989 and are not limited solely to the Giedroyc – Mieroszewski doctrine.
