Аннотация. В данной статье рассмотрена возможность анализа политического кризиса с применением концепций П. Сорокина. Представлены подходы и определения понятий «политический кризис», «революция» как явлений. Проведен анализ наиболее цитируемых международных политических журналов на предмет использования концепций П. Сорокина для изучения политических кризисов. Выяснено, что разработанные П. Сорокиным концепции не пользуются большой популярностью в международных политических журналах. П. Сорокин определен как один из первых авторов, занимавшихся разработкой теорий революции. Есть основания полагать, что его идеи не утратили актуальности и сегодня. Вместе с теорией социокультурной динамики они являются полезным инструментом для изучения политических кризисов и играют важную роль в современных политических исследованиях.

P. Sorokin’s Approaches in Political Crises Analysis

Abstract. This article examines the possibility of analyzing a political crisis using P. Sorokin’s concepts. The approaches and definitions of the concepts of “political crisis” and “revolution” as phenomena are presented. The analysis of the most cited international political journals on the use of P. Sorokin’s concepts for the study of political crises is carried out. It is found that the concepts developed by P. Sorokin are not very popular in international political journals. P. Sorokin is defined as one of the first authors to develop theories of revolution. There is reason to believe that his ideas have not lost their relevance today. Together with the theory of sociocultural dynamics, they are a useful tool for studying political crises and play an important role in modern political research.
