Аннотация. Статья посвящена анализу материалов фондов Архива внешней политики Российской Федерации в контексте представления их в качестве источников о жизни и деятельности казаков-эмигрантов в Китае. Данные материалы отражают не только положение самих казаков-эмигрантов, но и политику китайского правительства, а также местных властей в отношении иммигрантов из России. Кроме того, они позволяют проследить процесс репатриации казаков из Китая. Автор аргументированно показал, что материалы Архива внешней политики Российской Федерации представляют значимый научный интерес в плане изучения истории казачьей эмиграции в Китае. Особый акцент сделан на том, что документы, содержащиеся в фондах архива, не только подтверждают и дополняют сведения из других источников, но также часто являются уникальными свидетельствами о жизни и деятельности казаков-эмигрантов в Китае.

as a Source for Studying Cossack Emigration in China in the 1920s and 1930s

Abstract. The article delves into analyzing materials from the collections of the Foreign Policy Archive of the Russian Federation within the context of presenting them as sources on the life and activities of the emigrant Cossacks in China. These materials reflect not only the situation of the emigrant Cossacks themselves, but also the policies of the Chinese government and local authorities towards immigrants from Russia. Furthermore, they allow us to trace the process of repatriation of Cossacks from China. The author has convincingly demonstrated that the materials from the Foreign Policy Archive of the Russian Federation are of significant scientific interest in terms of studying the history of Cossack emigration to China. Particular emphasis is placed on the fact that the documents contained in the Archive’s collections not only confirm and supplement information from other sources, but are also often unique testimonies about the life and work of emigrant Cossacks in China.
